Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the main part of Jerrica Jem Betnton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. While growing up Aubrey performed with her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for this class in 2012 after she completed her studies. Harvard University had accepted her. They had agreed to her admission twice in order for her to play the part as the character of Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role in Necessary Rustness (1991). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a major player on the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder in an interview she gave the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
